每年6月又是許多畢業生尋找工作的時節，英文能力好通常都會嚮往福利好、制度透明的外商公司。想進入外商公司除了必要的中英文版履歷及自傳，再來就是通過後能否成為正式員工的英文面試了！
其實回想起面試過程就夠讓人緊張的，更何況是要使用英文侃侃而談，最好是要能應答自如又能夠展現你的人格特質或特殊經驗。
這裡提供一些英文面試容易出現的提問，先試想如何用英文表達吧！
1. 面試必問題-自我介紹
Let’s start the interview now. Tell me a little bit about yourself.
這題目其實算是一個很好的機會去展現你自己的個性跟熱情，尤其跟應徵的職位相當有關係！
而且也是可以拉近與面試官之間的距離，讓對方認為你是善於合作以及團體活動。
可以根據職位工作內容去延伸呼應你個性當中的特質。
2. 面試必問題-你的優點
What are your strengths?
接著是幾乎所有面試都會問到的問題，也是可以區別你與其他競爭者的特別突出之處！
或許大家都是應屆畢業生還沒有太多的工作經驗，也可以根據自己的工讀、實習經驗來舉例。
以下列舉一些各層面的優勢，可以依照自己的特質參考使用：
Communication→ the ability to get on with a wide range of people
Team work→ the ability to be an effective team leader or team member
A good attitude→ hard worker, honest, polite, co-operative
Enthusiasm→ employers like someone positive
Quick learner→ so you can take on new tasks
Determination→ shows you are focused on achieving goals

以下依照職業的類別+不同特質對於產業、工作內容相關連接，回答範例說法：
1. 若是專案規劃、分析等，就需要有良好的時間控管的概念。
I have an extremely strong work ethic. When I'm working on a project, I don't want just to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to complete the project well ahead of schedule. Last year, I even earned a bonus for completing my three most recent reports one week ahead of time.
2. 當應徵行銷企劃、編輯、文字工作者時，可以提及自己對於寫作的接觸時間長達幾年，不一定要是工作經驗在學生時期投稿過校刊也可。
I have extremely strong writing skills. Having worked as a copy editor for five years, I have a strong attention to detail when it comes to my writing. I have also written for a variety of publications, so I know how to shape my writing style to fit the task and audience. As a marketing assistant, I will be able to effectively write and edit press releases and update web content with accuracy and ease.
3. 服務業或是接觸到客戶諮詢相關行業，就必須強調自己面對需要臨時解決突發狀況的能力，若是沒有相關工作經驗也可舉例曾經擔任志工或是溝通應對方面的經驗。
I pride myself on my customer service skills and my ability to resolve what could be difficult situations. With five years of experience as a customer service associate, I have learned to effectively understand and resolve customer issues. On a related note, I also have strong communication skills, which help me work well with customers, team members, and executives. I am known for being an effective team member with a talent for giving presentations.
3. 面試必問題-你的缺點
What is your greatest weakness?
當問到這題許多人都會覺得有點苦惱，在於要承認自己的不足，但又不能影響到別人對你的印象變差。
所以最好是要提及有關於工作處理上的問題，也就是要把缺點轉化成優點，可以說是個性較謹慎導致於處理工作花費時間較多，但都可以得到很高的評價等。
以下列舉的缺點轉化為優點，可以依照自己的特質套用不同的內容：
I like to make sure that my work is perfect, so I tend to perhaps spend a little too much time checking it. However, I've come to a good balance by setting up a system to ensure everything is done the first time correctly. I also time myself when I work to prevent myself from spending too much time on one project, and guaranteeing I’ll have enough time to get to the rest of my work.
4. 面試必問題-離開上一份工作的原因
Why you’re leaving your job or why you left your previous one?
對於新鮮人來說可能比較不會遇到這類的問題，因為還沒有任何正職的工作經驗，但是其實這題也是一般面試相當普遍的問題。
開門見山提到因為目前工作內容不符合你的需求，所以才來應徵這份工作順便把你對於這間公司以及工作內容說明，讓面試官知道你有做過功課！
回答的內容切記不要針對上份工作的老闆或是同事抱怨，而是著重於為什麼會想面試目前這間公司的這個職位。
以下依照不同原因提供適當回答的範例說法：
1. 搬家、家庭因素當作是重新開始一份工作的原因，現在的世代人生規畫顯得相當重要，步入家庭開啟不一樣的人生階段也有可能影響到職涯的方向。
I'm relocating to this area due to family circumstances and left my previous position in order to make the move. I can spend less commuting time to spend more time with my family.
2. 由於公司縮編、部門裁撤，導致工作職位遭到遣散，這在美國公司是蠻普遍的情況，尤其是在大公司營運方面出現問題，或是小公司被大公司併購的情況。
I was laid off from my last position when our department was eliminated due to corporate restructuring.
3. 挑戰自我也可能是進修之後改求轉換跑道，現在大多數人選擇待在同樣的職位吸收經驗並學習，業餘時間再自我進修也是蠻常見的情況。
A. I am interested in a job with more responsibility, and I am very ready for a new challenge.
B. I am interested in a new challenge and an opportunity to use my technical skills and experience in a different capacity than I have in the past.
C. I recently received my degree, and I want to utilize my educational background in my next position.
5. 面試必問題-薪資待遇
What are your salary expectations?
最後也是重要的薪資待遇方面的問題，很多新鮮人被問到這個問題通常都會有點不知所措。
一方面可能以前都是工讀性質都有法定時薪，再來是從來也沒想過自己的能力值多少價值？
開太高又擔心失去這個Offer，開太低自己又無法以此生活度日，建議的是先到人力銀行找到相關行業類別看看薪資區間落點。
以下依照個人的能力與自信度，提供適當回答的範例說法：
A. The research I've done indicates that positions like this one pay $X to $Z and something in that range would be acceptable to me as a starting salary.
B. My salary requirements are flexible, but I do have significant experience in the field that I believe adds value to my candidacy.
